We Believe…

There is one God who eternally exitsts in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18)

Jesus Christ was and is God’s Son, born of a virgin, is without sin, died onthe cross for the sins of mankind, was raised from the dead, and ascended into heaven where He is now our intereding High Priest. He will come again in person to judge the living and the dead (Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; John 14:13)

Salvation is only found throuh Chirst (Acts 4:12)

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is authoritative for all matters of Christian faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16, 17)

All humans have sinned and deserve the punishment of eternal death (Romans 3:23; 6:23)

Salvation from the penalty of death is made possible through the atoning death of Jesus. It was He who bore the penalty of our sins (Romans 5:8,9)

We cannot earn our salvation: it is a gift of God offered to those who put their faith in Christ (Ephesisans 2:8, 9)

Becomging a Christian involves repentance and faith. Water baptism of a professing believer in Christ who has repented of sin and profess his or her faith in Christ and wish to become disciples and pledge their life to follow Him (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:28; 16:31)

The Chrisitan believer is endowed with the Holy Spirit for guidance, comfort, and assistance in prayer (Ephesians 1:13, 14; Romans 8:26)

The Church is the fellowship of Chrisitan believes, the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27)

Christians have the privilege of approaching God in prayer, believing that He hears and answers (Ephesians 6:18; James 5:14, 15)

Every Christian is expected to serve Christ in some sort of way that extends His love and truth to others (1 Peter 4:10; Romans 12:6-8; Hebrews 10:25)
